Golf courses will have a new mowing option next spring with the introduction of Toro’s new Reelmaster® 3555-D and 3575-D fairway mowers. Simple to operate and maintain, they’re designed to deliver the same superior quality of cut and reliability that customers expect from the Reelmaster line, but in a smaller package.

Productive Three-Wheel Design
First and foremost, the highly maneuverable three-wheel design makes tight turns with ease. This reduces turnaround time while significantly decreasing the potential for turf tear. In addition, these mowers have the same operator platform design as other Toro models, which helps simplify training and maximize productivity.

Light Footprint
The new Reelmaster 3555-D and 3575-D fairway mowers have a lighter footprint, weighing approximately 500 lbs. less than comparable Toro® mowers with four wheels. The weight is balanced from front to back and side to side, creating a low center of gravity with lighter turf pressure than most vehicles of the same size. This reduces turf compaction — especially on approach and surround areas. And smooth tires help to significantly reduce the potential for turf damage.

Low Noise
Another benefit of the new models is quiet operation. Rated at just 84 dB(A) at the operator’s ear, they’re among the quietest fairway mowers in their class. That’s an asset for golf courses that need to mow near sensitive residential areas.

Simpler Maintenance
The new Reelmaster models feature a liquid-cooled diesel engine that’s under 25 hp, which complies with Tier 4 final EPA emission regulations yet doesn’t require the complex after-treatment systems. This simplifies maintenance, which helps create efficiencies. Plus, the engine, hydraulics and cutting units are all fully accessible to further increase maintenance efficiency.

Impressive Power
These new Toro fairway mowers are compact and powerful. Toro has incorporated design enhancements that optimize the power usage of the cutting unit and traction systems to utilize the engine’s 24.8 horsepower effectively and efficiently. Low-drag seals and reduced-friction bearings on the cutting units reduce power requirements, allowing ample hill-climbing power for the series parallel traction system.

The new mowers include a full-time three-wheel drive system and offer a 100″ width of cut. They also feature Toro’s new Edge Series™ reels for a long-lasting, clean, crisp cut — available in two sizes: 5″ (model 3555-D) and 7″ (model 3575-D), with 8 or 11 blades.

The new Reelmaster 3555-D and 3575-D fairway mowers will be introduced at the Golf Industry Show in San Diego, February 10-11, 2016, with models available for delivery in April 2016. For more information, contact your local Toro distributor or watch for details coming soon on toro.com.
