Cool and Comfortable: The Enhanced Groundsmaster 4500-D and 4700-D

How Cool Is This?

Ever overheat because of a clogged radiator? We have an answer. Toro’s exclusive SmartCool™ system periodically reverses the cooling fan to blast chaff and debris from the air intake screens — so the engine stays cool and keeps running. The SmartCool system is standard on new 4500-D and 4700-D mowers.

The Comfort Zone

Comfortable operators are likely to be more productive. So an adjustable Air Ride suspension seat now comes standard on the 4500-D and 4700-D. Attached to the seat is an armrest-mounted ControlHub™ that puts one-touch controls at the operator’s fingertips. It all adds up to less vibration, less effort and less operator fatigue.

The Mower in the Middle

At a 90-inch width of cut, the new 4300-D is a step between the 3500-D and 4500-D. Depending on the operator and turf conditions, it covers about 5.4 acres an hour.* That’s an excellent value for courses that have downsized their rough area or simply want a smaller, lighter-weight machine to maneuver tee and green surrounds.

Hug Those Contours

The five cutting units on the 4300-D have a 22-inch width of cut, compared to 27 inches for the rest of the Contour™ Plus line. These smaller cutting units float effortlessly over sharp undulations and rolling terrain for a consistent quality of cut with virtually no scalping.
