New Golf Products Just Announced

What’s coming from Toro in 2016? Here’s your chance to find out. We recently announced quite a few new equipment and irrigation products for the golf market at the Golf Industry Show in San Diego.

These innovations are part of Toro’s continuing effort to develop new technology that helps superintendents maintain the highest-quality turf — considering everything from aesthetics to playability to overall turf health.

Workman^® GTX Utility Vehicle Line
The all-new Workman^® GTX utility vehicle is one of the most versatile grounds and turf crossover vehicles in its class, providing over 300 configurations to tackle a wide range of tasks. Options include four- and two-seat arrangements, a variety of front and rear attachments, and a number of flatbed options to haul even the bulkiest materials.

Reelmaster^® 3555-D and 3575-D
These new fairway mowers combine a compact, lightweight design with surprisingly impressive engine power for maximum versatility. Design enhancements optimize the power needed to drive the cutting units and traction system. These models also offer quiet operation and easy access to simplify routine maintenance.

Greensmaster^® 3120
The Greensmaster 3120 blends functionality with affordability, allowing golf course superintendents to incorporate a highly productive riding mower into their fleet at an economical price point. It utilizes the proven Greensmaster platform in combination with Toro’s innovative cutting system to provide a precise cut with every pass.

Greensmaster Flex™ 1820 and 2120
These new walk greens mower models deliver a pristine aftercut appearance, along with a number of enhancements for added efficiency and ease of use. New features include a user-friendly Multi-Disk wet clutch for easy drive engagement, a new clippings basket design, simplified height-of-cut adjustment and the new EdgeSeries reels.

EdgeSeries™ Reels
This new reel design features updated blade materials for longer reel life, which helps reduce maintenance costs and increase golf course productivity. The improved blade angle also promotes turfgrass health by providing a cleaner and healthier cut, while at the same time reducing backlapping and grinding.

Tier 4 Final Groundsmaster^® 5900/5910
Toro has taken the trusted design of the previous Groundsmaster 5900/5910 models and integrated a fuel-efficient Tier 4 Final-compliant Yanmar^® diesel engine. Designed for increased productivity, simple serviceability and operator comfort, the new models have demonstrated fuel savings of up to 30 percent compared to the previous models.

Workman MDX and MDX-D Vehicle Upgrades
Enhancements to the new Workman MDX and MDX-D utility vehicles include increased horsepower for enhanced cargo and towing capacity. An improved carburetor-and-clutch calibration also allows the engine to run at a higher RPM. And an automotive-grade rack-and-pinion steering system provides more control while minimizing steering effort.

STEALTH™ Series Kit for INFINITY^® Series Golf Sprinklers
The STEALTH Series Kit helps improve playing conditions by enabling turfgrass to grow above the sprinkler head, creating a seamless area of turf that minimizes sprinkler interference during play on the golf course. It quickly attaches to any INFINITY Series sprinkler, enabling installation below grade.

Lynx^® Smart Hub
The Lynx Smart Hub is a new type of field controller that adds security, programmability and sensing to the benefits and simplicity of a two-wire system to optimize golf course irrigation operations. Flexible installation options include a local or remote pedestal or wall mount and wireless or optional wired two-way communication.

OSMAC^® G3 Field Controller
Available as a complete satellite or as an upgrade to existing E-OSMAC satellites, the OSMAC G3 offers new intuitive faceplate capabilities, improved performance and an enhanced level of control. The simple user interface can carry out both scheduled irrigation and multi-manual activities. Other features include superior diagnostics and simple setup.
